I separate finding a memecoin from deciding whether to trade it. Axiom Trade puts discovery and order controls close together, but a token appearing on a screen says little about whether it is worth buying. Crypto101az's guide, published on March 22, 2025, covered the platform's filters and trading tools. Its title promoted 100x memecoin returns without establishing that readers could expect them.

What Axiom brings together

Axiom combines a DEX Screener with Pulse, its token-discovery area, plus social and wallet trackers and trading screens. A decentralized exchange, or DEX, lets traders exchange tokens through blockchain-based systems. The screener narrows the available tokens using measures such as trading activity and market size.

The creator described Axiom as promising and predicted it could become a major trading hub. They also said a public launch was coming soon. I see the convenience of having these controls together, but that forecast is separate from whether any trade is profitable.

The update covered in the guide added quick views of X posts, account-specific Twitter tracker customization, multi-wallet trading, DEX banners, an OG token filter and hotkeys.

Axiom also has Perpetuals and Yield, with Portfolio for reviewing holdings. Buying a token exposes you to its price. A leveraged derivative adds liquidation risk, while a yield product adds exposure to the arrangement generating the return. Sharing an interface does not make those activities interchangeable.

Follow the Axiom Trade workflow

These controls reflect the interface at publication. Check the site address before entering account details or connecting a wallet, and inspect transaction requests before authorizing them. Money committed to a trade can be lost.

  1. Log into your Axiom account to reach the DEX Screener and trending memecoins.
  2. Select a token from the screener. The example token was COC, or CatOnChain.
  3. Inspect the token page's Trades, Positions, Orders, Holders, Top Traders and Dev Tokens tabs.
  4. Choose your order settings in the trading panel. Options include instant trading, market and limit settings, and advanced controls. Buy and sell use similar controls.
  5. Review the token identity and order details, including the buy or sell selection, before placing an order and authorizing a transaction.
  6. Open Pulse to browse New Pairs, Final Stretch and Migrated, which group tokens by their development or migration stage.
  7. Open the New Pairs filter control. The Pulse Filter modal also has tabs for the other two stages.
  8. Set the protocol filter using Pump AMM, Raydium, Pump or Moonshot.
  9. Enter a keyword and any excluded terms to narrow the results without accepting every similarly named token.
  10. Set the remaining criteria: curve and audit-related controls, token age in minutes, holder filters, trading metrics and Socials.
  11. Open Trackers to view Live Trades alongside Twitter Alerts and the option to add wallets.
  12. Open a memecoin from Pulse, go to its Top Traders tab and select a wallet.
  13. Click the star to favorite that wallet. Inspect Active Positions, History, Top 100 and Activity for more context.
  14. Open Perpetuals to reach the BTC-USD chart and Order Book. Derivatives need not be part of a spot-token strategy.
  15. Open Yield to inspect the annual yield figure and Solana availability notice.
  16. Open Portfolio to review assets, trading history, profit and loss, and active positions, including perpetual trade tracking.

I treat this sequence as a map of the controls, not a reason to use every feature. The order panel appears early, but authorizing a trade belongs after the checks that follow.

Read the token page before the order panel

The transaction tab records trading activity, while the position and order views concern exposure and instructions to trade. The holder, trader and developer views provide other ways to inspect a token.

Trading volume measures how much trading takes place over a period. It does not explain participants' motives or show whether demand will last. The example buys figure was 13.84% over the past 1 hour, and the creator said it updated every second. That reading was temporary; its time window and label are necessary to interpret it.

I pay particular attention to the difference between an order's displayed price and its eventual execution price. In general, a market order seeks execution at the available price. A limit order sets a price boundary and may remain unfilled. On thinly traded tokens, execution can occur at a different price from the one displayed beforehand, a difference called slippage.

A limit setting does not eliminate execution risk. Position size matters relative to liquidity, the trading capacity available to absorb orders. An amount that looks small in an account may still be large for the market it enters.

Check fees and withdrawal conditions, along with execution and liquidation rules, before relying on the platform. Token identity needs a separate check: names and tickers can be copied. Verify the contract address, the blockchain identifier that distinguishes the token, rather than relying on a familiar name.

Use Pulse filters to narrow, not certify

Pulse's first group contains fresh pairs. The middle group contains tokens approaching migration or graduation, and the last contains those that have completed the transition. Migration here means a change in trading stage or venue, not a judgment about investment quality.

I would not assume demand will survive a graduation milestone. The stage tells you where a token sits in that process, not whether interest will last.

Protocol filters narrow results to the selected venues, while keyword inclusion and exclusion narrow them by text. The creator used Trump as an example of a recent token theme. Searching that name does not endorse the results or prove a connection to the public figure. The same problem applies to names suggesting links to events or other projects.

The age filter's unit matters: entering a threshold as though it used a different unit can produce a very different list. Age measures how long a token has been present under the relevant measure, not how thoroughly anyone has reviewed it.

Holder controls include Top 10 Holders, Developer Holders, Snipers and Insiders. Concentration can indicate how much influence a small group has over supply. Snipers commonly refer to traders seeking very early entries; insider labels suggest privileged positioning or connections. I treat those labels as screening information, not independently established accusations.

The metric controls include Liquidity, Volume, Market Cap, txns, number Buy and number Sells. Market capitalization generally relates price to supply, whereas liquidity concerns the funds available for trading. A large displayed market value can coexist with much less capacity for an exit. Transaction counts are not a head count of independent investors because an account can transact repeatedly.

The audit-related controls include Dex Paid and CA ends in pump. A paid listing and a contract-address pattern are not technical security reviews. Even a security audit has a defined scope and cannot guarantee that a token will retain its price.

Treat social and wallet alerts as leads

The creator said the social tracker scanned posts from influential accounts about specific tokens and delivered relevant posts immediately, allowing a response within seconds. That was a claim about speed, not a measured performance result.

An alert still needs interpretation. A post might announce news or repeat a rumor; it might express an opinion or advertise a position. I care more about the source's identity and incentives than the attention around a token name.

Opening the original X post helps preserve context, especially when it mentions a token indirectly or contains a joke. A fragment can omit information that changes the meaning. Reacting immediately to an alert also leaves less time to check the claim.

The creator described wallet notifications as a way to follow successful traders and said users received them when followed wallets traded. The wallet view displays Balance, PNL and Performance alongside a profit-and-loss chart. Use the selection and favorite controls described above to add a wallet.

A public wallet record reveals only part of a trader's exposure. Someone may use other wallets or hold offsetting positions elsewhere, so a visible purchase does not necessarily reveal their purpose. I would consult history and active positions for context rather than assume a favorable chart explains the strategy.

Copying a transaction also changes its economics. A notification can arrive after the original wallet has entered, and the follower's execution price can differ. When attention arrives rapidly, followers can supply the demand that helps an earlier buyer exit. The relevant trade is the one available now, not the one someone else obtained earlier.

Keep perpetual risk separate from spot trading

The creator reported perpetual futures with up to 50x or 100x leverage. Those settings should not be assumed to apply to every asset or account.

A perpetual contract provides price exposure without the scheduled expiry of a conventional futures contract. Leverage lets a trader control exposure larger than the collateral committed, magnifying gains and losses relative to the funds supporting the position.

I distinguish that leverage figure from the title's hoped-for price multiple. One describes exposure relative to collateral; the other describes an asset's return. Neither implies the other.

Liquidation forces a leveraged position to close when it no longer meets collateral requirements. A sharp move can close the position even if the trader later proves right about the broader direction. The route the price takes matters, not just where it ends.

Perpetual markets also commonly involve funding payments, periodic transfers associated with keeping contract prices aligned with the underlying market. These payments affect the cost of maintaining a position.

The order book lists available bids and offers with their prices and sizes, but orders can change before execution. I would not rely on visible depth as a lasting cushion against a sudden move. Volatility combined with substantial leverage makes execution conditions and collateral management especially important.

Read yield as exposure, not idle cash

The creator described a yield integration through a partnership with Marginfi and named USDC or Solana as assets for earning yield. At publication, the Yield page displayed 3.07% APY and the notice "Solana Yield coming soon". That status distinguished current availability from the broader description.

APY, or annual percentage yield, expresses a rate on an annual basis with compounding assumptions. It is not a guaranteed payment: yield-product rates can change with market conditions and demand.

I would assess moving funds into yield as taking on a new exposure, rather than an administrative improvement to idle cash. Lending and other decentralized-finance arrangements can carry smart contract risk: code handling funds may behave unexpectedly or contain a flaw. Liquidity pressure can also affect access to funds.

The asset and the yield mechanism need separate consideration. Stablecoins aim to maintain a reference value, but that aim is not a guarantee. Other crypto assets may fall enough in price that yield payments fail to offset the decline. An annual rate does not measure that price risk.

The creator called the yields competitive. I would put more weight on where the return comes from and the conditions for retrieving funds than on that assessment or the description of income as passive.

Review exposure before the next trade

Portfolio's combined view supports a review of the positions described above. PnL means profit and loss, the gain or loss attributed to trades or positions under the screen's accounting rules. The page includes a PnL line chart and Performance statistics.

I would start with concentration: several tokens may express the same speculative theme despite different names. A spot position and a derivative can also expose an account to the same market direction. Separate dashboard rows do not necessarily mean separate risks.

Trading history can help compare the reason for entering with the reason for exiting. A planned decision differs from a reaction to an alert. Profit alone does not validate the reasoning, and a loss does not prove every part of the process was wrong.

Before acting on another lead, separate what the signal establishes from what the order requires. A keyword match or wallet transaction can identify something to inspect. It cannot guarantee sufficient liquidity or an acceptable execution price when you need to exit.

Common questions

What is Axiom Trade's Pulse feature?

Pulse organizes token discovery into New Pairs, Final Stretch and Migrated. Filters include protocols, keywords, token age in minutes, holder information and trading metrics.

How do users favorite a wallet on Axiom?

Select a token in Pulse, open Top Traders and choose a wallet. Click the star to favorite that wallet for tracking.

Does 100x leverage mean a memecoin will return 100x?

No. Leverage describes exposure relative to collateral, while a price multiple describes an asset's return. The creator reported leverage up to 50x or 100x; those settings do not promise a token's return.

What did the Axiom Yield screen display?

At publication, the screen displayed 3.07% APY and "Solana Yield coming soon". The creator described a yield integration through Marginfi.
