I find the broad altcoin charts more persuasive than the anniversary behind Crypto Noble's October 10, 2026 reversal thesis. The analyst expects improving prices and widespread pessimism to help undo the damage from the previous October 10 crash. That is a case for recovery, but a sustained boom requires more than a few promising setups.
What supports the altcoin rally argument
The analyst's reverse crash thesis rests on reluctant investors returning and short sellers closing positions. Short sellers bet on falling prices and generally have to buy back the asset to close their trades. If enough do so together, their buying can accelerate a rally.
Several altcoins were rising while Bitcoin attracted less attention. I would look for that strength to spread beyond the first winners before treating it as a broad change in direction. These selected daily moves are snapshots, not synchronized readings of the whole market.
| Asset | Daily move reported |
|---|---|
| AERO | Up 13% |
| NEAR | Up 10% |
| Cardano | Up 6% |
| Zcash | Up 2% |
AERO's reported gain changed as the market moved; the table uses its later figure. None of these readings is a fixed closing-price report.
The anniversary argument comes from Gann analysis, which looks for patterns in price and time. The analyst treats the date as a possible turning point and argues that altcoins are underowned and undervalued. Their psychological explanation is that investors distrust rallies after previous advances failed, yet also distrust declines because the losses hurt.
I can see why those experiences might leave people hesitant. But a date does not create demand, and daily gains do not establish ownership levels or valuation. A strong weekend move can also reflect thin trading or buyers concentrating on a small group of assets.
The broader signal in TOTAL3
TOTAL3 tracks total crypto market capitalization excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum. It combines the value of circulating assets at current prices, so it offers a broader view than individual charts for the two largest assets discussed here.
The setup behind the analyst's bullish reading is a range breakout followed by a return to the former boundary and a hold around the 50-day moving average. That average smooths past prices to help traders assess the trend. The return, or retest, matters because buyers defending the old boundary can suggest that an area which restrained prices has become support.
I give that sequence more weight than an isolated green candle. It provides observable conditions: the breakout has to survive, and buyers have to keep defending the area where they previously slowed or stopped a decline. Support is not an unbreakable floor.
Using the width of the earlier range, the analyst projects an advance in altcoin market capitalization from 800 billion to 925 billion. Their suggestion of a trillion is a more ambitious extension, separate from that conventional chart measurement. Neither projection establishes a schedule or guarantees that the required money will arrive.
An aggregate can conceal uneven performance. Larger constituents can lift TOTAL3 while smaller assets struggle. I would use it to assess the backdrop, then check whether the sector or asset under discussion shares the strength rather than assuming every altcoin will benefit.
Thin liquidity can accelerate either direction
The analyst attributes the earlier damage to a failure in Binance's order book, followed by altcoin flash crashes of 70% and a 9-month correction. In their account, the shock wounded market makers and left sellers with too few buyers. They now expect scarce selling supply to let new buyers move prices substantially, even without widespread enthusiasm.
An order book holds outstanding buy and sell orders. Market makers generally quote on both sides to help traders transact, but their presence does not guarantee deep liquidity. Orders near the current price can remain shallow even when a chart looks active.
I would keep this mechanism separate from any claim that the recovery is safer. Sparse orders amplify selling as well as buying. They also create execution risk: the displayed price may not be available for the full size of an order. The spread between buying and selling quotes and the available order depth matter when judging how readily a trade could be completed.
A CoinDesk headline said Bitcoin and ether liquidity had rebuilt while altcoins still faced risks. The analyst reads that caution as continued pessimism. I think the warning deserves consideration on its own; a cautious headline can identify a real vulnerability even if prices subsequently rise.
Volume profiles add another part of the bullish argument. They arrange past trading volume by price rather than time. High-volume zones show where substantial trading occurred, while low-volume areas show less historical activity. The analyst interprets sparse volume above current prices as limited resistance, but historical volume is not an inventory of future sellers. New orders can appear as prices rise.
Bitcoin's quiet chart and the squeeze thesis
Bitcoin could rally or remain quiet while attention shifts to altcoins, according to the analyst. They suggest it might sit for another 20, 30 days before a later move of 40 or 50%. Low volatility, meaning smaller or less frequent price changes, does not establish either the direction or size of that forecast move.
The one-hour Bitcoin setup includes a bullish divergence near a high-volume area: price makes a lower low while a momentum indicator makes a higher low. That can suggest weakening selling pressure before price confirms a recovery.
I would treat the divergence as supporting evidence. Momentum indicators summarize price behavior rather than reveal buyers' intentions, and a divergence can persist while prices fall in a hostile larger trend.
The analyst compares Binance spot trading, which involves the asset itself, with Bitcoin CME futures, which provide contractual price exposure. Their reading is that spot has little historical volume resistance and futures have a smaller pocket attributable to hedging. From there, they predict buyers could trigger short sellers' stops and carry Bitcoin toward 88k.
Stops instruct trades to act at specified prices. Stops on short positions can create buying demand, although a chart cannot establish how many exist or locate all of them. Ansem's published Bitcoin plan uses an entry of $82k, a stop of $74.6k and a target of all-time highs. Those are Ansem's levels, not an independently established forecast from the analyst or an instruction to copy the trade.
What I find useful about that plan is its explicit exit level alongside the upside thesis. A stop still cannot guarantee an execution price during a sudden move; an intended loss boundary and a guaranteed limit on losses are different things.
ETFs and crypto stocks offer a second set of charts
The analyst interprets Friday selling in crypto exchange-traded funds, or ETFs, as bringing several products into technical support. ETFs provide exposure through securities traded on stock exchanges. Their charts offer another view of demand, but they are not interchangeable with the underlying assets' around-the-clock markets.
ETHA, the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF, has a weekly setup described as a breakout and return to the 50-week moving average. The analyst considers that constructive and expects traditional investors to view Ethereum as exposure to tokenization and stablecoins.
Tokenization records ownership or asset claims through tokens, while stablecoins are designed to track a reference value. I can see how those themes fit an allocation argument. The chart, however, cannot establish that fund buyers have those particular motives.
Bitmine, described by the analyst as Tom Lee's company, has a daily golden cross: the 50-day average crosses above the 200-day average. The subsequent correction toward the shorter average is interpreted as cooling an earlier overbought condition.
For IBIT, the analyst's bullish reading rests on holding above the 50-week average, filling a recent gap and reaching a volume zone around 45. They also interpret selling in the Solana and XRP ETF charts as occurring where buyers could be accumulating. I would distinguish trading near support from evidence about who is buying or why; the claim that larger buyers are taking the other side remains an interpretation of price and volume.
MicroStrategy has a possible inverse head and shoulders in the analyst's forecast. This bottoming pattern has a deeper middle trough between two shallower ones, with a neckline that a breakout must clear.
| Level | Role in the forecast |
|---|---|
| 166 | Breakout level the analyst wants the stock to exceed |
| 270 | Theoretical objective from the bottoming pattern |
| 500 | More speculative reversal scenario based on flipping the earlier decline |
I would give the measured pattern objective and the flipped-decline scenario different weight. Mirroring a past fall illustrates a possible large reversal; it does not establish that the next advance will match it. Crypto-related stocks also carry company-specific risks that a stronger crypto market cannot resolve.
Sector rotation needs a reason to last
The analyst expects DeFi and AI to follow earlier leadership in privacy coins and perpetual-futures projects. DeFi provides financial services through blockchain-based applications; perpetual futures are derivatives without a fixed expiry date. This forecast concerns where traders might turn next, not just whether the market rises overall.
AERO is central to their Ethereum-related argument as the decentralized exchange on Base. Such exchanges let users trade through blockchain-based systems. The analyst predicts that Ethereum and its layer-2 networks, which handle activity alongside a base blockchain, will become places where machines settle and trade.
I would separate greater network use from gains for a particular token. The benefit depends on how the token connects to that activity; traders can embrace a theme before its lasting economic value becomes clear.
The AI group includes TAO, Render, Worldcoin and IO. The analyst's TAO case rests on improving volume, a moving-average crossover and limited material daily resistance until 700. Worldcoin has a cited four-hour buy signal around its 200-period moving average.
IO's setup uses a 62% retracement, a partial reversal of its earlier advance. The analyst considers that pullback common and potentially constructive in crypto. I would not read the percentage as evidence that underlying demand has improved.
The analyst also groups Cardano, Stellar, Hedera and Cosmos around payment infrastructure and stablecoin themes. Polkadot has a cited golden cross followed by a return toward both moving averages, with Stellar showing a similar setup. Shared patterns do not establish identical prospects: projects differ in how their systems work and how demand reaches their tokens.
Synthetix and SEI illustrate the importance of timeframe. A dramatic hourly move can remain modest on a daily chart after a long decline. I would distinguish a short-term recovery from a repaired longer-term trend before drawing conclusions from either chart.
The macro case contains conflicting assumptions
The analyst sees bank earnings as potentially favorable for crypto either way. Bad news could bring Federal Reserve support and easier money; good news could ease concern about the financial system. Their equity case also includes a bullish diamond formation in Nasdaq futures with an upside projection of 10%.
They expect an equity advance to draw even stronger gains from Bitcoin and altcoins as investors become more willing to accept uncertainty and look beyond the assets that moved first.
I think the weak point is the timing assumed for policy support. Financial stress can prompt investors to cut exposure before a response arrives. Even if support follows, its timing and transmission into crypto remain separate questions.
The analyst also predicts that AI could become deflationary by increasing production and lowering prices. Deflation is a decline in the general price level. They expect machine-driven efficiencies to challenge the view that inflation and tighter policy must dominate the outlook.
That economic prediction cannot be established by an altcoin chart. Productivity gains can affect industries unevenly, and the general AI argument does not identify which crypto assets capture lasting value. I would not use it to excuse weak evidence for a particular token.
The equity argument has another tension. A stronger Nasdaq is presented as helpful to crypto, but crypto is also described as decoupled from equities, with independent reasons to attract investment. Those relationships can vary over time; they cannot make every stock-market outcome automatically bullish for crypto.
I would keep the conditions separate. The chart case depends on support and continuing breakouts. The macro case depends on the expected policy or allocation response. If one fails, the other needs its own evidence.
Judge the thesis by what could disprove it
The analyst acknowledges that altcoin investors can lose all their money and that buying every dip loses money when the central assumption is wrong. Repeated buying depends on the broader recovery remaining intact; adding exposure after that assumption fails can increase the damage. Short sellers face the opposite risk when a rapid rise forces exits and magnifies losses, especially with leverage, or borrowed exposure.
I would distinguish conviction from a belief that no evidence can overturn. A failed breakout, a decisive loss of the relevant support or a rally confined to a few names would weaken different parts of the thesis. Calling every setback another opportunity would avoid testing those conditions.
Waiting for confirmation can mean observing higher prices. Earlier participation carries the risk that the recovery fails. The analyst prefers acting early, but readers can evaluate the evidence without adopting that preference. This is not financial advice.
For me, the useful test is specific: does broader strength reach the sector being discussed, and does the pattern survive on the timeframe used to describe it? MicroStrategy's forecast, for example, first depends on clearing 166. The proposed 270 objective and the speculative 500 scenario should not obscure that condition.
