I find Cardano's activity figures more useful when I keep them separate from its product plans and price forecasts. Angry Crypto Show links rising attention around ADA to cross-chain development and a bullish call from Crypto Banter's Sheldon. The numbers describe current activity; the plans and forecast depend on what happens next.

Cardano's trading volume and attention

Cardano's reported 24-hour trading volume surpassed $530 million, according to CoinGecko. CoinMarketCap ranked it as the 13th most-viewed cryptocurrency, ahead of Hyperliquid, Chainlink, Dogecoin, BNB and TRON. Trading volume records turnover, and the same funds can contribute repeatedly. Page views record interest, including interest from people who have no intention of buying.

Blockworks ranked Cardano fourth for mindshare, behind Ethereum. Its attention figures compared Cardano with several other assets:

Asset Reported mindshare
Cardano 3.28%
Zcash 1.65%
BNB 1.13%
Bittensor 1.04%
Hyperliquid 0.88%
XRP 0.71%

I read these as measures of where people are looking, not whether that interest is favourable or likely to last. Cardano attracted more measured attention than the other assets in the table, but the figures do not tell us how much became demand for ADA.

Lark Davis offers an explanation for Midnight's visibility: ADA reached $100 billion, and Charles Hoskinson's ability to attract attention benefits Midnight by association. That is Davis's view of brand influence, not a way to value either asset.

A familiar project can draw interest around a release, a price move or a social-media argument. I would look for recurring use or a functioning product before giving that attention much economic weight. A high ranking can identify expectations worth examining, but it cannot tell us whether those expectations will be met.

Network activity needs careful interpretation

Token Terminal put Cardano above 303,200 monthly active addresses, an increase of 2,000 in 24 hours. This counts blockchain addresses involved in activity during the measurement period, rather than individual people. One person can control several addresses, and a service can act for several people.

The creator attributes much of the increase to HOSKY's transactions and airdrops. That remains their assessment: the address total does not identify what caused the activity or how long it will continue.

I would also avoid treating a change in a monthly measure as newly acquired users. Rolling figures change as addresses enter or leave the measurement window. They help track participation, but answering who participated requires more than the total.

Coinbase Wrapped ADA, or cbADA, had 6,501 holders in the displayed snapshot. Wrapped assets make representations of underlying assets available in another environment, which can give holders more places to use them. The trade-off is a need to understand the backing and the mechanism connecting the representation to the underlying asset.

The creator sees the holder count as evidence of rising interest in cross-chain Cardano. It measures ownership of that particular representation, though it does not disclose position sizes or how frequently holders use it. I would track it separately from active addresses: one measures holders of an asset, while the other measures activity on a network.

Minswap's multi-chain plans remain a hint

Minswap, a decentralized exchange on Cardano, has hinted at Bitcoin and Midnight support through a Minswap Labs poll and branding in those networks' colour schemes. A decentralized exchange, or DEX, lets users trade through blockchain-based systems rather than relying entirely on a conventional exchange account. Adding networks could change which assets and services users can access through Minswap.

Neither network is currently supported. Minswap does have NIGHT token support, but the available token is a Cardano-native asset. Supporting that token is different from handling activity on the Midnight network.

I would keep that distinction in mind whenever an exchange advertises a familiar ticker. A token's availability says little about which network the exchange can handle. The creator believes a Bitcoin and Midnight integration could be significant for Minswap, but a poll and themed branding establish interest or direction, not working infrastructure.

Cross-chain trading requires a way to move value or communicate between systems with different rules. Depending on the design, that can involve additional software, intermediaries or asset representations. Putting them behind one interface can make those dependencies harder to see without removing them.

The video does not explain the proposed routes' fees, withdrawals or settlement mechanics. I would want to know what a user deposits, what they receive and which system controls each stage before assessing the service. Bitcoin DeFi through Minswap remains a prospect until there is a supported route to examine.

Solada connects launches to another audience

The creator describes Solada as a live Cardano-to-Solana launchpad and the first of its kind. It brings ADA-funded launches to PumpFun, giving projects a way to introduce tokens to another ecosystem while retaining a Cardano-facing experience.

PumpFun has over 1.7 million monthly active users who can discover and trade the tokens. That is the destination platform's audience, not a count of Solada users or people trading Cardano-funded launches.

The creator says PumpFun creator fees are paid in ADA directly to Cardano wallets. They also say users can stay with Cardano without needing a Solana wallet because Solada handles the connection. Those claims explain the creator's expectation that the service could bring revenue back to Cardano.

I find the payment route more concrete than the audience figure. It names an asset and a recipient, but payments still depend on people launching tokens and others choosing to trade them. Reaching a large platform does not guarantee either action.

The creator is optimistic about the users and liquidity that could move through Solada. Liquidity matters because trading needs buyers, sellers and available funds; a connection only helps if enough people use it.

Launchpads also expose users to ordinary token-market risks. New tokens can be volatile, difficult to sell or dependent on a small group of participants. I would judge the connection separately from any token launched through it. Making a launch easier says nothing about the quality of the token.

Solada's proposed economic benefit is therefore specific: activity on another platform can generate ADA-denominated payments to Cardano wallets. How much that matters will depend on usage.

Midnight combines activity with an ambitious agent vision

Midnight Explorer recorded 402,197 mainnet transactions in the displayed snapshot. The creator reports a 34% increase over four days. Transaction totals measure network activity, but do not reveal each transaction's purpose or economic value.

Midnight City had 1,436 agents online, and the creator reports that 274 active agents were added in five days. These software programs can perform tasks with some autonomy. I would not combine their count with the transaction total: programs online and transactions recorded measure different things.

Charles Hoskinson describes Nightframes as persistent programs whose capabilities improve with large language models, AI systems that generate and interpret language. His vision goes beyond smart contracts that execute defined blockchain rules to continuously operating agents with wallets.

Hoskinson says the Open Wallet Standard has been integrated and that these agents can hold different kinds of assets. He also describes Nightframes as non-custodial, decentralized and censorship-resistant. Those are his claims about the system, rather than guarantees established by the activity figures.

I would focus on spending authority before an agent's capabilities. Software with a wallet can act economically, including taking an unwanted action. Users need clear permissions, accountability and a way to limit or revoke authority over funds. An automated program's ability to keep operating makes those controls more important, not less.

Hoskinson predicts a much larger economic shift as these systems reach people at scale. The transaction and agent counts give that discussion a measurable starting point, but they do not prove his forecast.

NIGHT trading is live on OKJ in Japan, following Cardano and Midnight listings on Sony's S.BLOX exchange in August. Exchange availability gives another audience access to an asset. I would keep that separate from demand, and would not extend a Japanese listing into a conclusion about the asset's legal status elsewhere.

Revenue claims and traceability need different tests

Strike Finance says every dollar it makes goes back to holders and believes this could help propel it to a billion-dollar market cap. The creator welcomes that approach and considers STRIKE overlooked. The revenue promise belongs to Strike Finance; the favourable assessment belongs to the creator.

Strike Finance has applied to list STRIKE on CoinMarketCap. An application is a request, not approval. The creator expects greater visibility for STRIKE to help awareness of other Cardano-native projects, but that spillover remains a possibility.

I would examine the distribution rules before the market-cap ambition. Revenue is money a business or protocol earns; market capitalization reflects token price and supply. Returning revenue to holders does not mechanically determine what traders will pay for the token.

The mechanism matters: which receipts count as revenue, who qualifies for payments and which obligations take priority. Those details determine what a promise to return money to holders means in practice.

Open Food Chain offers a different use case. The Cardano Foundation says the project works with Kraft Heinz and Interfood and anchors food traceability records, certificates and supplier evidence as verifiable proofs on Cardano. The creator says people can access the information through a scannable QR code.

The Foundation places this work in the context of tighter requirements to substantiate environmental claims about food. The creator consequently argues that Cardano is well positioned for traceability.

I would distinguish preserving evidence from proving its truth. A blockchain can help establish that a recorded piece of evidence has not changed, but cannot by itself verify the original claim about a food product. Traceability still depends on the information supplied and the checks behind it.

Open Food Chain's potential usefulness comes from helping people verify records, rather than attracting speculative token turnover. Its test is the quality and reliability of that evidence.

Sheldon's breakout call is a forecast

Crypto Banter's Sheldon says he can see where buyers are positioned in ADA. He expects several tokens to remain around their current levels for a week or two before moving sharply. The creator reports his ADA target as 40 cents and beyond in the days and weeks ahead, while acknowledging that the timing is difficult to know.

A breakout means price moves beyond a level or trading range that has constrained it. Traders may read that as a change in the balance between buyers and sellers, but a move beyond a level can reverse.

I would assess Sheldon's target as a price forecast, with its uncertainty attached. The creator's broader view that ADA may be undervalued rests on its visibility and trading interest. Those figures give context to a valuation opinion; they do not establish fair value.

The bullish argument assumes that attention, ecosystem development and more trading routes will lead to additional demand. Each link requires someone to act. Reading about Cardano, using an application and buying ADA are separate decisions.

There is a timing difference, too. Integrations and recurring application revenue can take time to develop, while Sheldon's call concerns days or weeks. I would not use a near-term price move to judge whether a product is useful. A long-term product case can survive a failed trading forecast, and price can rise before an integration delivers anything useful.

Sheldon's target should therefore be assessed against subsequent price behaviour. Minswap's plans and the other product claims need their own evidence.

Check what a service can do with your funds

I would look for changes in status rather than another round of optimistic commentary. Minswap needs an identifiable supported route. Strike Finance's application and revenue promise need the approval and distribution details discussed above. More discussion can happen without a release, and a working service can improve without an immediate price response.

For cross-chain services, check the site address before connecting a wallet and read the transaction request before approving it. Keep your private key, the secret controlling wallet access, out of websites and messages. A familiar interface or ecosystem name does not make an authorization safe.

For agents, I would apply the same care to ongoing permissions as to individual transactions. A demonstration of capability is less useful than a clear explanation of what the software may do with funds. Before granting an agent authority, check the spending limits and how to revoke its access.

Common questions

Does Minswap support the Bitcoin and Midnight networks?

Neither network is currently supported. A Minswap Labs poll and themed branding hint at expansion, while its existing NIGHT support is for a Cardano-native asset.

What is Sheldon's ADA price prediction?

Crypto Banter's Sheldon targets 40 cents and beyond for ADA in the days and weeks ahead. This is his forecast, and the creator acknowledges uncertainty about timing.

How does Solada connect Cardano with PumpFun?

The creator describes Solada as a launchpad for ADA-funded launches on PumpFun, with PumpFun creator fees paid in ADA directly to Cardano wallets.

Do Cardano active addresses equal individual users?

No. One person can control multiple addresses, and a service can act for multiple people. Active-address counts measure address activity, not individual users.
